β To Refinery
Tap the pump jack, the tank, or the button to extract crude oil!
Phase 1b: The Desalter
Crude oil has salty water in it! Zap the salt π§ and water π§ before they escape the grid! But don't zap the oil β«οΈ!
Grid powering up...
Phase 2: Distillation
Inside the tower, crude oil gets heated and separates by weight! Choose a product path:
Phase 3: Hydrotreating
We need to clean the sulfur out!
HF Alkylation Unit
Tap the 𫧠molecules in the emulsion layer to make Alkylate! Warning: Drag the dark tar (ASO) π€ to the Acid Regen box before acid purity drops below 80%!

Catalytic Reformer
Naphtha is low octane! π₯ the furnace to heat the straight molecules, release Hydrogen, and reshape them into powerful Ring ⬑ molecules!
Vacuum Tower
Resid is too thick to distill normally! Remove the air pressure so the heavy oil boils at a lower temperature.
Vacuum Fractionator
Coker Fractionator
The hot vapors from the drum separate into cracked products! Choose one to process:
Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC)
VGO molecules π are too big to use as fuel! Tap them to CRACK them apart! Cracking causes coke buildup β«! Don't forget to regen your catalyst.

Phase 5: Logistics
Your product is ready! How do you want to deliver it?
Delivering Your Product!
Mission Accomplished! π₯³ You did your part to contribute to the 630 million gallons of fuel the US needs EVERY day.
Reliability just called it in: vibration is spiking fast. Bring Pump B online and pull Pump A out before the seal lets go. Follow the lettered toggle lights to make the swap.

Pump Swap Failed
Swap is down
This run is in a dead state. Restart the swap to try again.
Recommendation: read the procedure before restarting.
Standard Operating Procedure: Hot Swap
AOpen Pump B Suction: Flood the spare pump with liquid to protect the mechanical seals.
BStart Pump B Motor: Spin up the spare pump against its closed discharge valve.
COpen Pump B Discharge: Establish forward flow through the spare pump.
DClose Pump A Discharge: Pinch off the bad pump to prevent fluid from slamming backward.
EStop Pump A Motor: Shut down the vibrating equipment.
FClose Pump A Suction: Fully isolate the bad pump so maintenance can safely pull the casing.
Pipe X-Ray Maintenance
Incoming Diesel pipe integrity compromised! Scan for thin spots, tap to mark them, then switch to the clamp tool to fix them!
